Terms of Service

1. Products and descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Natural materials such as clay bricks, stone and timber vary in colour and texture, and images illustrate the range rather than an exact piece. Dimensions and capacities are nominal. Where a material change is necessary, we will offer an equivalent or refund you.

2. Pricing and availability

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT at 15%. Prices may change without notice, but the price shown at checkout when you order is the price you pay, subject to verification. If an item is out of stock or a price error is material, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

3. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, delivery is not feasible, or we suspect fraud. Order confirmations are sent by email and displayed on screen.

4. Payment

• Card and instant EFT payments are captured at checkout by our payment partner, PayFast.
• Orders that remain unpaid may be cancelled.
• Trade accounts are invoiced on approved 30-day terms and may attract interest on overdue amounts.
• We do not store card details on our servers.

5. Installation, safety and compliance

Electrical, plumbing, gas, gate automation and borehole installations must be carried out by suitably qualified persons. Products must be installed according to manufacturer instructions and applicable SANS standards. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect installation, overloading, incorrect fuel or voltage, or failure to follow instructions.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost building time. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

7. Intellectual property

All site content, images, product photography and copy are owned by or licensed to Advent Biz Solutions and may not be reproduced without written permission. Our brand names and logos remain our property.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Email us first at sales@adventbiz-solutions.co.za so we can resolve the matter. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the courts of South Africa. These terms were last updated on 2 November 2026.
